Cub Scouting uses uniforms to promote several things:
- Sense of belonging
- Identification with scouting
- Recognition
- A sense of pride in a neat and clean appearance
Only official insignia can be put on the Scout uniforms. Please refer to the insignia placement guide for the correct placement of official insignia.

Patches from events may be worn on the right shirt pocket below the button on a temporary basis. Special patch vests can be worn to display special patches from past events or places visited.
General Required Elements
- Pack Numerals 361 (red individual numbers worn on left sleeve)
- World Crest Emblem (centered above the left pocket)
- South Florida Council Patch (top of left sleeve)
- Den Number (under American Flag on right pocket)
Required Elements
- Official Blue Cub Scout shirt with proper insignia
- Official neckerchief with slide
- Cub Scout Hat
- Blue Pants or shorts (do not have to be Scout issued)
Tiger Den
- ORANGE neckerchief with slide
- Cub Scout Hat (orange front panel)
Wolf Den
- YELLOW neckerchief with slide
- Cub Scout Hat (yellow front panel)
Bear Den
- BLUE neckerchief with slide
- Cub Scout Hat (blue front panel)
Webelos Den
Choice of:
- Official Blue Cub Scout shirt with proper insignia
- Or Official Tan Boy Scout shirt with proper Cub Scout insignia
- Official plaid neckerchief with slide
- Webelos Hat (plaid front panel)
- Scout Belt in color to match shirt (optional, but recommended to hold sports & academics belt loops)
- Blue or Olive pants (do not have to be Scout issued)
- Activity Pin Shoulder Colors
Optional Elements
- Cub Scout Belt (optional, but recommended to hold sports & academics belt loops)
